BDA has career opportunities for CAD Drafters and Architectural Project Managers.
Architects/Project Managers are required to have at least 5 years of design and management experience in mid-sized commercial or health care projects. Must be proficient in all phases of design, construction documents and construction administration. AutoCAD proficiency is required, and experience with Revit and SketchUp is a plus. MS Word and Excel are also used frequently. Must be team-oriented with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, excellent at multi-tasking, time management and self-discipline. Candidates should also be prepared for occasional national and international travel, including overnight and long day trips.
CAD technicians should be well versed in architecture construction documents and detailing, with a strong sense of graphic presentation and design. Candidates should also be self-motivated, flexible, organized, good at multi-tasking and capable of taking instruction, learning and adapting. BDA primarily uses Autocad Architecture 2019, but basic knowledge of Revit and Sketchup is helpful.
